Queen of Hip Hop Nicki Minaj is arrested in Amsterdam after being accused of carrying drugs by the Dutch police.

The rapper who has a scheduled stop in Manchester UK for her Pink Friday 2 Tour which begins around 6:30 Pm. She reveals in a tweet that she missed her scheduled plane to Manchester for the sold-out show due to an extensive 2-hour security check:

“Ask yourself what takes 2 hours if they’ve searched everything already ? […] And the ppl who weigh it ain’t here told you, it’s to try to make me late so that they can write negative stories. Jealousy is a disease. You know the rest.”

The ‘Likkle Miss’ rapper tweeted, “Now they said I have to go 5 mins away to make a statement about my security to the police precinct,” after she was instructed to go to the station and told she was under arrest.

Minaj recorded her arrest on Instagram Live, accused of carrying drugs while traveling from Amsterdam to Manchester for her Pink Friday 2 Tour.

Despite vehemently denying the allegations, the 41-year-old rapper was informed she needed to go to the police station, as seen in the live footage.

In the video, a man explained she would get a lawyer at the office and that they would proceed “as fast as possible.”

During the live stream, the “Anaconda” hitmaker claimed she was instructed to get into a police van and go to the precinct without a lawyer present. She further alleged that airport security personnel requested a statement without legal representation after finding “pre-rolls” in bags they were not authorized to search.

Before the alleged arrest, Minaj posted a series of tweets about her bags being pulled for a thorough search at the airport. She speculated that attempts were being made to “plant things” in her luggage to sabotage her tour.

Additionally, she shared footage on Instagram showing a man telling her that police needed to examine her luggage more closely. An airline crew member told her that all luggage had to be offloaded and searched, apologizing for the inconvenience.

Minaj questioned why the bags weren’t searched before boarding the plane. The crew member explained they initially did a quick check but now wanted to open everything because they didn’t believe she was carrying only what she claimed.

Minaj reiterated in the live footage that she had denied carrying any drugs and was nonetheless told to go to the police station. She expressed frustration over not being able to verify her bags before they were loaded onto the plane, alleging that this was part of an effort to sabotage her tour.

“This is what it looks like when people are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal,” Minaj wrote in her caption on Twitter, asserting that her bags were taken and placed on the plane without her knowledge.
