Additionally, there aren’t many new and original programs debuting on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Gomovies App, HBO Max, Apple TV+, Disney+, Paramount+, and Peacock for the remainder of May. HBO Max Best Shows

HBO Max is a well-known streaming service that provides users with access to a sizable and varied collection of content. It was introduced in May 2020 and has already established itself as a popular platform for fans of entertainment.

 Spy/Master (2023)

Genre:           Drama
Cast:              Alec Secăreanu, Svenja Jung, Parker Sawyers
Created by:   Kirsten Peters, Adina Sădeanu

Spy/Master is a Romanian espionage thriller, but its Cold War story works well no matter where you view it. The series stars Alec Secăreanu as KGB snitch Victor Godeanu, who has spent years cooperating closely with Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu (Claudiu Bleonţ).

The show is set in 1978. A U.S. agent, Frank Jackson (Parker Sawyers), views Victor’s decision to defect to America as a gold mine because of the possible intelligence he could supply. Unfortunately, Jimmy Carter would not approve of Victor’s removal from West Germany, despite the fact that the enemy is closing in on him and Frank while they plan their next move.

The Other Two (2019)

Genre:           Comedy
Cast:              Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Case Walker
Created by:   Sarah Schneider, Chris Kelly

The Other Two, a razor-sharp satire penned by two Saturday Night Live head writers, Chris Kelly, and Sarah Schneider, and featuring former SNL cast member and character actor Molly Shannon, is one of the more underappreciated comedies now available to stream. Cary (Drew Tarver), an unemployed actor, and his sister Brooke (Helene Yorke), a former professional dancer turned Hollywood manager, are the focus of the story.

Together with their younger brother Chase Dream, a former teen music sensation who is now trying to establish himself after his initial 15 minutes of fame, they navigate the brutal terrain of contemporary Hollywood. The supporting ensemble also includes Wanda Sykes, Ken Marino, and Josh Segarra from Scream 6, but Shannon, who plays media billionaire Pat Dubek, steals the show. Although The Other Two makes fun of pop culture, a surprising amount of sweetness and familial humor can be found beneath the snark.

With producer Jada Pinkett Smith narrating Cleopatra’s biography and providing a variety of historical authorities for the documentary portion of the show, Netflix’s Queen Cleopatra attempts to strike a balance.

In the dramatic recreations, Adele James plays Cleopatra, who conquers Egypt only to discover that members of her own family are actively attempting to usurp her from the throne. They were wrong to do that because Cleopatra does not yield to anyone.

Lilly Singh is the star of the human cast as Nora Singh, a Wax Town Records staffer who learns that Electric Mayhem owes the record company a record. Which included Joe Pesci as his grandfather, Joe Larocca, and Edie Falco as his mother, Amy Davidson.

This show is less of an autobiographical comedy and more of a farce in the style of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
