Less than 24-hours after City of Tshwane announced that it would resume its bus operations, three of the vehicles were attacked.

Three City of Tshwane Buses were stoned on Monday afternoon in the latest attack connected to the city's decision not to pay wage increases.

On Sunday, Tshwane MMC for Roads and Transport, Katlego Mathebe, announced that Tshwane would resume its bus operations following the illegal and protracted strike action, which started at the end of July. 

The Tshwane Bus Service (TBS) had not been running for nearly three months.
