Trump fumes at billionaire ‘red haired weirdo’ during gag-order pause

Donald Trump appeared to take advantage of a pause in a judge’s gag order against him to call Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt a “red haired weirdo” and Special Counsel Jack Smith “deranged.”

The 77-year-old former president raged Sunday at reports that Pratt, a packaging mogul and member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, alleged Trump told him sensitive details about US nuclear submarines after the businessman suggested Australia should buy its subs from America.

“The Failing New York Times story, leaked by Deranged Jack Smith and the Biden ‘Political Opponent Abuser’ DOJ, about a red haired weirdo from Australia, named Anthony Pratt, is Fake News. I never spoke to him about Submarines,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“But I did speak to him about creating jobs in Ohio and Pennsylvania, because that’s what I’m all about – JOBS, A GREAT ECONOMY, LOW TAXES, NO INFLATION, ENERGY DOMINANCE, STRONG BORDERS, NO ENDLESS WARS, LOW INTEREST RATES, and much more!” Trump said.

Pratt has said Trump told him the exact number of nuclear warheads that some US submarines carry and also how close they can come to Russian subs without detection, according to ABC.

At one point, the businessman claimed, Trump also asked his wife Melania to don a bikini and parade around Mar-a-Lago “so all the other guys could get a look at what they were missing.”

Melania shot back, “I’ll do that when you walk around with me in your bikini,” according to Pratt.

Trump’s spokesman has slammed the tale, arguing it was derived from “sources which totally lack proper context and relevant information.”

In addition to Pratt’s interview with the FBI and prosecutors, there is audio of him spilling the beans on Trump on the subs, according to the New York Times and Australia’s “60 Minutes.”

The billionaire is one of at least 80 people who prosecutors believe could make a strong witness against Trump in the sprawling 40-count criminal case brought against him by Smith and the US Justice Department for his alleged hoarding of classified documents at his various homes after leaving office. The trial is set to commence in May.

US District Judge Tanya Chutkan had slapped Trump with a partial gag order in the case Oct. 16, barring him from attacking prosecutors, court staff or their families — or discussing possible witnesses or testimony.

She imposed the order after Trump’s various public screeds against Smith and other key players involved in the case.

Trump lashed out against her on the campaign trail hours after the move, chiding that her “whole life is not liking me” and ripped the order as “unconstitutional.”

She agreed to temporarily lift the gag order a few days later as Trump’s legal team works to challenge it in the US appeals court.

The former president is facing a total of 91 criminal counts involving a slew of cases, including the 40 raps for alleged classified-document hoarding, four for alleged 2020 election subversion, 13 for alleged Georgia 2020 election tampering and 34 out of Manhattan over alleged hush money payments.

Trump has vehemently denied wrongdoing across the board.
