Iran is pleased with South Africa's ongoing support of the Palestinian cause, it told International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor during her visit to Tehran.
It is also thankful that South Africa has continued to work to keep Israel from obtaining observer status at the African Union.
Pandor visited Tehran over the weekend as part of ongoing efforts to deepen the relationship between the two countries, ahead of Iran becoming a BRICS member early next year.
