South African Weather Service has warmed of damaging winds in parts of the Northern Cape.

The South African Weather Service issued a high fire danger warning for parts of the Northern Cape and Western Cape. There were also alerts for damaging winds in the Northern Cape and for heavy rain in the Eastern Cape. 

Impact-based warnings: 

A Yellow Level 1 warning for damaging winds that could result in a few transport routes being affected by difficult driving conditions. The blowing around of loose debris is expected over the central interior and the south-eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

Fire danger warnings: 

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Khai-Ma Municipality of the Northern Cape and the Beaufort West Municipality in the Western Cape.

Advisories: 

An intense low-pressure system, combined with the high water table, is expected to bring heavy downpours over the Eastern Cape - and it is expected to result in widespread pooling and flooding in the eastern half of the province.

Limpopo will be cloudy in the east at first, with morning drizzle and fog along the escarpment, otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and warm to hot. 

Fine and warm to hot conditions are expected in the North West.

It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon.

It will be windy in the west.

Morning fog patches are expected in the eastern parts of the Free State, with conditions becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

It will be windy in the west.

The Northern Cape can expect morning fog along the coast, where it will be cool, otherwise fine, windy, and hot to very hot.

It will be partly cloudy in the east. 

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate, westerly to north-westerly.

It will be partly cloudy and cool to warm in the Western Cape but hot over the extreme north-eastern interior, becoming cloudy along the south coast in the evening, with isolated to scattered showers and rain. 

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly north of Cape Town, otherwise moderate to fresh south-easterly, becoming strong from late afternoon between Hout Bay and Cape Agulhas.

The expected UVB sunburn index is very high.

Morning fog is expected in places along the coast and adjacent interior of the western half of the Eastern Cape.

It'll be partly cloudy and hot to very hot but warm along the coast. It will become cloudy along the coast in the evening with isolated showers and rain.

The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to south-easterly.

The eastern half of the province can expect isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme north.

The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal can expect morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and warm.

 The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
