President Biden’s re-election Campaign eclipsed the Trump campaign’s follower count on Truth Social two days after launching on the GOP frontrunner’s own platform.

Biden-Harris 2024 now touts approximately 29,300 followers compared to Team Trump’s 24,800 followers.

Former President Donald Trump himself remains top dog, with 6.4 million followers on the platform built for him after his 2021 exile from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, now known as X.

Trump, 77, was given the boot following the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, but has since been allowed to return.

Truth Social is dominated by Trump’s followers and observers interested in what the former president has to say.

“There’s very little ‘truth’ happening on Truth Social, but at least now it’ll be a little fun,” a Biden campaign aide told The Post when the BidenHQ account was opened Monday.

Back in May, a Biden campaign official told an Axios reporter that it absolutely would not join Truth Social. But on Monday, the campaign told the same outlet: “We changed our mind.”

Since joining the platform, the Biden campaign has been trolling Trump and Republicans while promoting the incumbent president.

Trump’s campaign issued its version of a warm welcome to Biden.

“Crooked Joe Biden and his team are finally acknowledging that Truth Social is hot as a pistol and the only place where real news happens,” spokesman Steven Cheung told The Post.

“Unfortunately for Biden, his continuation of spreading misinformation to gaslight the American people in order to distract from his disastrous record won’t work and they’ll be ratioed to oblivion.”

Truth Social is helmed by former Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and bills itself as a free speech platform.

Trump and Biden are the 2024 frontrunners in their respective party primaries and are currently dead even at 43.9% in the latest RealClearPolitics polling average.
