NFL bettors are smashing the under and having incredible success.

Betting on NFL games to go below their total Points Projection resulted in an unbelievable 12-2-1 record in Week 6.

That marked the best showing for those betting on the under in 27 years, according to Action Network’s Evan Abrams.

The low-scoring week continues a concerning trend for NFL offenses this season.

The under has hit it in more than 60 percent of games this season (56-36-1), which is the highest rate through six weeks since 1991, per Action Network.

The offensive juggernaut Miami Dolphins, who scored 42 points against the Carolina Panthers, were part of one of just two games to go over last week.

The Colts and Jaguars, who combined for 57 points, also went well over their total of 44 points.

The one game that pushed, the 49ers-Browns game that totaled 36 points, could have gone under the total if not for 13 combined points in the fourth quarter.

However, the 49ers did miss a potential game-winning field goal late in the fourth quarter that would have resulted in the over-cashing.

NFL bettors have apparently started taking notice of the league’s low-scoring ways this season.

The betting market has bet down the total in 11 of 13 Week 7 games since opening, per Action Network, with just Dolphins-Eagles and Steelers-Rams having their points projection increase.

In every game besides Steelers-Rams, more tickets are the under than the over, according to Action.

Just two Week 7 games (Dolphins-Eagles, Chargers-Chiefs) have totals higher than 45 points at FanDuel as of Wednesday morning.

Five games currently have totals of less than 40 points, including Thursday’s Saints-Jaguars tilt.
