The inclement weather could result in flooding, danger to life and damage to property.

An Orange Level 6 warning has been put in place for damaging winds and waves leading to the disruption of ports and small harbours between Plettenberg Bay and Durban. A yellow Level 4 warning for disruptive rain is in place for the Dr Beyers Naude (Willowmore Area), Blue Crane,  Inxuba Yethemba,  Enoch Mgijima, Raymond Mhlaba and Amahlathi municipalities, as well as the Buffalo City metro.

A Yellow level 2 warning for damaging interior winds has been put in place for parts of the western interior of the Eastern Cape. The winds could result in minor disruptions to transport routes and travel services affected by wind, falling trees or dust storms.
