Although we don’t know which teams will represent the AFC or NFC, we do know for certain Usher will take center stage at the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

The popular R&B icon — currently midway through his ongoing ‘Usher: My Way’ Las Vegas residency at Park MGM’s Dolby Live Theater — was officially tapped by the NFL to headline the halftime show at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list, the “Yeah” singer shared. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”

“We’re gonna celebrate through dance, through skate, through celebration,” he added on CBS Mornings.

“I am not coming to disappoint.”

The day after the Super Bowl, Usher is dropping his ninth studio album “Coming Home.”

Although little is known about “Coming Home,” his first new solo record in roughly eight years, you can hear the lead singles “Good Good” with 21 Savage and Summer Walker as well as “Boyfriend” here.

Getting the call for the Super Bowl was a surprise for the 44-year-old singer as evidenced by the tongue in cheek ad he co-starred in with Deion Sanders (featuring footage from his 2004 music video “Confessions, Pt. II”).
