Sharing “a story I’ve never told” before, the Jonas Brother recalls a recent time he misjudged “a little toot.”

S— happens, even to Joe Jonas.

During an appearance on Australia’s Will & Woody show, the Jonas Brother was asked to share “a story you have never told anyone” before by the two cohosts … and Joe shocked the pair with his TMI tale.

“I was with a few friends yesterday, and we were just talking about where there is a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you s— your pants,” Jonas began, saying the incident in question happened about four years ago.

The band released their comeback album Happiness Begins in 2019, touring that same year.

“It’s fresh, but I’ve been able to work through it, a lot of therapy,” he quipped. “Let’s just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing. You think it might be a little toot, it might’ve been a little something else, a little something extra.”

Jonas said he needed to have a “mid-wardrobe s— change during the set,” telling the hosts that if anyone were to “go into the archives,” they would notice the outfit swap and think, “Oh, that was an interesting choice to change clothes that quickly.”

“That’s a story I’ve never told and also that’s just real life,” he said, adding, “It was a light one, it wasn’t a full, so I was able to tell the tale.”

The 33-year-old musician said he’s sure someone could find footage from the show in question, where he’s suddenly rocking a totally different look.

“The whole time, I thought this is definitely, somebody is going to be able to see this and know what is happening, but it was all in my head,” he added. “It wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. But such is life.”

Concluded Joe: “It’s happened to many artists. I feel like I’ve paid my dues, and I feel like I’m a part of some secret club now.”

Nick Jonas Reveals ‘Traumatic’ Kelsea Ballerini Moment That Caused Him to Go to Therapy

View Story

His confession comes after brother Nick Jonas recently opened up about an on stage moment that also sent him to therapy — revisiting an ill-fated performance of “Peter Pan” with Kelsea Ballerini at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards.

The incident went down as he accompanied Ballerini on guitar, during his solo years following the Jonas Brothers’ initial split.

“There was one more time during a really tragic guitar solo debacle that happened on live TV,” he shared. “In retrospect I can kind of laugh about how big I thought it was, but it did travel more than I wish it would have, and it did cause me to go into therapy.”

“As I walk towards her, I just went completely blank. I hit a wrong note and blacked out, basically,” he recalled, adding that while he “clocked” things were going “wrong,” he also “couldn’t stop.”

“To this day, and hours of unpacking it, I can’t really figure out exactly what happened,” he added. “I was rushed right into a car and right into a plane after and I looked at my manager and I was like, ‘I think that was bad.’ I was, like, in shock.”

On the eve of the premieres of two of the biggest films of the summer, “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” the SAG-AFTRA union voted to go on strike, leaving the stars of those films with some of the last words from a Hollywood event until the picket lines start on Friday.

After an extension that pushed negotiations all the way up to the dual premieres of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” SAG-AFTRA ultimately voted to go on strike, effectively shuttering Hollywood. It also made the London premieres of those films among the last events in the industry.

“I very much am in support of all the unions and I’m a part of SAG, so I would absolutely stand by them,” Margot Robbie told reporters in London at the premiere, before the official decision came down.

Her “Barbie” co-star Ryan Gosling echoed her sentiments, adding, “I will support the actors.” Luckily — or strategically — for the studio, this Wednesday night event was the last major promotional pit-stop for the film before its July 21 premiere.

The “Oppenheimer” London premiere was in a far more precarious position. They actually bumped the premiere up by fifteen minutes in order to hopefully have more time with the film’s stars before what appeared to be an imminent strike.

As such, the film’s stars were able to talk about the pending strike literally minutes before it happened.

That’s why we moved this up because we know the second it’s called, we’re going home.”

True to her word, when word came down that the strike had been called, the actors exited the premiere before the screening. Blunt and Damon were joined in their exodus from the event by Florence Pugh, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, and others.

Director Christopher Nolan — the DGA did come to terms with AMPTP earlier this month — confirmed their departures before the film’s screening. “Unfortunately, they’re off to write their picket signs for what we believe to be an imminent strike by SAG, joining my guild — one of my guilds — the Writers Guild in the struggle for fair wages for working members of their union.”

As per the rules laid out by SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher, the actors are not allowed to participate in industry events like premieres, press junkets, FYC events, and conventions. It is the first actors strike since 1980.

With this strike, which kicked off at midnight and will see the first picket lines forming on Friday morning, Hollywood is facing its first double-strike in more than 60 years, with SAG-AFTRA joining the WGA (Writers Guild of America) in a work stoppage. At that time, Ronald Reagan was head of the actors’ union.

Drescher gave an impassioned and emotional speech in announcing the strike, saying the studios “stand on the wrong side of history at this very moment.” She also accused them of pleading “poverty, that they are losing money left and right, while they give millions to their CEOs.”

Kim Kardashian made a similar jab when she wore a t-shirt reading “Kendall’s Starting Five”

Kendall Jenner was the subject of a popular NBA joke at the 2023 ESPYs on Wednesday night, involving her all-star lineup of ex-boyfriends.

Sports analyst Pat McAfee hilariously name dropped The Kardashians star during the ceremony — a moment you can watch below:

“Kendall Jenner’s Starting Five would win the NBA championship every single year,” joked McAfee. “You know it, you know it.”

“If they’re in the bubble your ass is getting smoked,” he said playfully.

The Starting Five in this case is referring to Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, Devin Brooker, Jordan Clarkson, and Kyle Kuzma.

However, McAfee isn’t the first person to joke about Kendall’s exes. In a recent TikTok video, Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian was sporting a t-shirt which read “Kendall’s Starting Five,” with pictures of the model and basketball players printed on the front.

Sara Ramirez’ Che Diaz, a nonbinary comedian character new to the franchise, was brutally ridiculed and trashed by fans in her first season, inspiring showrunner Michael Patrick King to put the character through a similar arc in Season 2.

Sometimes life imitates art and sometimes art imitates life. That’s what happened on the latest episode of “And Just Like That,” as Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) witnessed a brutally vicious focus group reaction to their new sitcom.

Ripping on Che was definitely ripped directly from the “Sex and the City” fandom as the comedian character was one of their favorite punching bags throughout the first season.

The nonbinary character was a clear effort by the show to course correct from the original’s unrealistic lack of diversity. The problem is that in many ways Che was unrealistic as a human being.

HBO Max

And Just Like That’s Sara Ramirez Is ‘Very Aware of the Hate That Exists’ for Che Diaz

View Story

Not that Ramirez was playing the character poorly, but rather how they were written on the page. It was reminiscent a bit of “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” in that it featured “comedy” writing that just wasn’t funny. Like “Studio 60,” it was clear that not-funny writers were writing Che’s stand-up material, and it only further distances them from the audience and reality.

All of this led to an outsized outrage about the character that the show is now directly responding. In fact, showrunner Michael Patrick King said that reacting to fan reaction to the show is the plan.

“A lot of season two is an address to the reaction to season one in my thought process,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “I didn’t see one tweet and go, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to change everything’. It’s a zeitgeist feeling.”

That applies to the character of Che, as well, with King telling TheWrap that their approach to the character in this season was “to start with the reaction to what Season 1 of Che was, which was judging a book by the cover.”

King said that he took a step back to try and figure out all the Che hate because, as we noted, Ramirez wasn’t failing as an actor. “So I was like, ‘Okay, where is this coming from?’” King said. “And what do we do with it?”

The solution, as King saw it, was to knock Che down a peg, take them from the cocky and confident person who turned Miranda’s life upside down and always seemed to be cool and in control and … upend every bit of that.

“Michael Patrick King and I had a meeting before Season 2 even started, and we both agreed that it would be so exciting and interesting to see Che confront a system like Hollywood,” Ramirez told TheWrap, a place where “the most authentic version of themselves is not welcomed.”

Thus, Che’s journey to turn their stand-up into a sitcom which culminated in Season 5’s savage focus group takedown. “I’ve been in many, many focus groups, and there’s always some wounding that happens in there,” King said. “But what we really wanted to talk about was the fact that sometimes what you’re trying to do is not reflected, even by the people that you think you’re doing it for.”

Bravo

Cynthia Nixon Talks Odds of Kim Cattrall Returning After ‘And Just Like That’ Cameo

View Story

Che’s moment of reckoning wasn’t even being called a “walking Boomer joke” by another nonbinary person, but rather having their life story dismissed as a “bulls— version of what the nonbinary experience.” Creating art is personal so having your art trashed can’t help but be just as personal.

None of this, though, should be seen as hate for Che from Ramirez or King. Rather, he thinks the character is representative of what “SATC,” and now “AJLT,” are all about. In particular, he describes the core of the shows as being “the individual versus society.” For the original series, it was “the single girl versus society.”

Now, in many ways, Che is that individual. The society now just happens to be the very real society that’s more than willing to share their opinions in real time on the focus group that is social media.

The RHOC alum appeared on Watch What Happens Live and was asked about her short-lived marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens, the president’s nephew.

Meghan King’s marriage to President Joe Biden’s nephew didn’t last … but her wedding gift from POTUS is forever.

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star appeared as a guest on Watch What Happens Live last night, where she was put on the spot about her very brief marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens, the son of Biden’s younger sister, Valerie.

The two tied the knot in October 2021, just two weeks after they went Instagram official. The pair, who met on a dating app, separated shortly after, in December that same year, before having their marriage annulled in July 2022.

“Meghan, I gotta ask you about Cuffe Biden,” Andy Cohen began on Wednesday’s episode of his Bravo talk show. “Really?” asked King, before the host barreled ahead with his questions.

“Do you think that if you had waited longer to get married it would have gone on longer?” he first wondered, as she said their relationship actually “would have gone on shorter” and “wouldn’t have gone on” at all had they maybe paused a bit before walking down the aisle.

When asked whether there was any indication the President and First Lady Jill Biden knew about RHOC or that she was once on the show before they said “I do,” King said she “wasn’t thinking about that.” She added, however, “I think the president is well aware of the Housewives at this point.”

As the questions kept coming, Cohen also asked what POTUS gave her for a wedding gift.

“This beautiful crystal bowl with the presidential seal on it,” she revealed, adding that she kept it in the annulment. While it’s certainly a great conversation piece, when Cohen joked that maybe the marriage misfire “was worth it,” she quickly responded, “No, Andy, it was not!”

Announcing their split back in December 2021, King said, “I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out.”

“I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.” She concluded: “At the time I ask for your grave and gentle kindness as I navigate this labyrinth of grief with my family.”

King shares daughter Aspen, 5, and 3-year-old twin sons Hart and Hayes with ex-husband Jim Edmonds; she ended their five year marriage in 2019 amid accusations of infidelity. She and Biden share no children.

“Mama June” Shannon opened up about daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis alongside daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, and Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

The rest of the family sat down for a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight about Anna’s status and how the family is dealing with her diagnosis, treatment and taking things day by day. “It’s an emotional rollercoaster sometimes,” said June. “Mentally it’s always on my mind.”

June said that her daughter’s diagnosis has changed several times throughout her treatment, which has involved four rounds of chemotherapy, but nevertheless, “We know it’s terminal.” Anna was diagnosed with stage IV adrenal carcinoma in January.

June said the cancer is “very aggressive,” noting that it “grew from nothing to something huge all on the left side of her body really fast.”

“She’s stage IV,” June said. “She’s not gonna go into remission. We’ve all accepted that.” At the same time, she knows that a terminal diagnosis doesn’t mean that doctors can honestly say how much longer a patient has.

“Somebody can tell you six months and you can live five years,” she said.

“It is crazy to think that she will not be here probably in five years,” interjected youngest daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson. “But I’m hoping that she can pull through and fight 10, 20 years … That’s my sister.”

Despite her diagnosis, the family says that Anna is still doing well and keeping active, driving herself and staying involved with taking her kids where they need to go. Anna has two children, Kaitlyn, 10 and Kylee, 7.

“The 10-year-old is aware,” said Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird. “I don’t think she fully understands. I think she understands that Mommy is sick and Mommy might not be here for a while.”

“She’s 10, but she’s a lot more mature than that because she’s been raised around older people,” she added.

June said that while mother and daughter have always been close, Kaitlyn is even more attached to Anna these days. “I get that because she’s thinking if Anna goes somewhere then maybe Anna might not be at the house when she gets back,” she said.

As for Kylee, the family doesn’t think she grasps fully what’s going on at all yet. “She just knows Mama’s sick,” said June.

Despite her current diagnosis, there are still treatment options for Anna that she and her family are considering. Those include clinical trials and immunotherapy. At this time, though, Anna isn’t yet sure if she wants to continue treatment at all.

Anna has been sharing her cancer treatments on her TikTok page, including her rounds of chemotherapy. According to June, she’s bounced back pretty well from these, though she has now lost all of her hair.

“When I got home, it was like everything was starting to just fall down on itself. Like, my face was melting on itself,” Chen told Gayle King

Tiffany Chen had a postpartum health complication after giving birth to her baby girl with Robert De Niro.

Chen spoke about the complication in an interview with Gayle King, which will be released in its entirety on Friday. She explained that she was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy shortly after having Gia Virginia.

Bell’s palsy is “a neurological disorder that causes paralysis or weakness on one side of the face,” according to National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. “One of the nerves that controls muscles in your face becomes injured or stops working properly.” They also note that symptoms include drooping features and weakness or paralysis on one side of the face.

I went to put a fork of food in my mouth and everything came out. I couldn’t eat. And then I was starting to slur.

“When I went home, I started to feel like… my tongue felt strange,” said Chen, 45.

“It felt a little tingly, just starting to get a little bit numb. And then I realized my face just felt weird. I didn’t know what the feeling was that I was having. It felt weird.”

King then asked if her face “looked different” when she looked in the mirror, which Chen confirmed was true.

“When I got home, it was like everything was starting to just fall down on itself. Like, my face was melting on itself,” said Chen. “And then a week after giving birth, that was when it all hit.”

“I was trying to eat,” continued Chen. “I went to put a fork of food in my mouth and everything came out. I couldn’t eat. And then I was starting to slur. So I said, ‘There’s something really going on here.’”

Chen was instructed to “go right to the hospital”.

“I lost all facial function the minute I got to the hospital,” she revealed.

Chen and De Niro, 79, welcomed daughter Gia Virginia earlier this year, and the actor shared some details about his newborn with King in a previous interview.

King said the child’s name is Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro and weighed in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces after her April 6 birth.

King said De Niro told her the baby was “planned” and both he and Chen “wanted this baby.” She added the two were “over the moon” by her arrival — and said, “she was brought here by love, so he is very psyched and very excited about it.”

De Niro now has seven children total, ranging in age from 51-years-old to just 1-month.

The actor shares daughter Drena, 51, and son Raphael, 46, with first wife Diahnne Abbott, twins Julian and Aaron, 27, with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith and two children — son Elliot, 24, and daughter Helen, 11 — with Grace Hightower.
