Fans labeled Teddi Mellencamp a “hypocrite” for refusing to speak about her BFF Kyle Richards’ split from husband Mauricio Umansky on her “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast.

On Friday’s episode of the iHeart show, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 42, explained that she would not address the elephant in the room due to her close friendship with the “Halloween Kills” actress.

“We have one more ‘Housewives’ headline you guys, I’m sure, are expecting me to cover,” she began. “Clearly, I have a lot of anxiety, I’ve gotten a lot of messages since I’ve been gone. I’ve been on vacation.”

Mellencamp, who hosts the show alongside “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge, said they did a Q&A for the podcast and everyone had questions about Richards and Umansky’s divorce.

However, the former reality star decided that discussing her bestie’s separation was a line that she would not cross.

“I just wanted to say that we came up with the decision — myself, Tamra, iHeart, my producers — that everybody has their boundaries, and this is mine,” she continued.

“Kyle and Mauricio and their kids are like my family. I love them so much. I understand exactly what my job is here on this podcast and it’s to go down all the rabbit holes. And I think 99 percent of the time, that’s quite easy for me because it’s people I don’t know.”

Mellencamp explained that she was going to “bow out” from the conversation surrounding their split.

“I hope those of you as humans understand that when it comes to true friendship, this is more than just ‘Housewives’ or scandal or drama. This is one of my best friends,” she concluded.

Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives?’

Fans were not impressed with Mellencamp’s display of loyalty to Richards, especially when she previously spoke publicly about the divorces of other “Housewives” on her podcast.

“I get Teddi and Kyle are friends. I do. But Teddi makes her living off gossiping about others. Dissecting every other HW marriage. To do otherwise after proclaiming how seriously she takes her job is a bigger joke than Teddi was as a HW #RHOBH,” tweeted one critic.

“It’s one thing to be faithful to one of your best friends, it’s another to not do your job. If you can’t do your job – step aside for someone that will,” added another.

“That is hypocritical. You talk about EVERONE else on your podcast and you talk about personal knowledge as long as it gives you ratings and makes you & your friends look good. You have said some personal messes up stuff about people. But NOW you draw a line in the sand. Fire her,” demanded a third fan.

“She’s not trying to mess up her access or meal ticket. She ain’t fooling anyone,” wrote another user.

Earlier this week, Page Six confirmed that Richards, 54, and Umansky, 53, split after 27 years of marriage.

At the time, a source told People that the estranged couple — who share three children together — are “amicable” but had “been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof.”

Hours later, the duo released a joint statement insisting that “any claims regarding [them] divorcing are untrue.”

The actress and the “Buying Beverly Hills” star also added that “there has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part” and asked fans to “not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

Fans speculated that Richards was “dating” country singer Morgan Wade, however, the longtime Bravo star recently insisted that the two of them are “very good friends.”

Richards and her estranged husband, whom she wed in 1996, have continued wearing their wedding rings amid the news.

Florence Pugh is apparently gonna be in scenes for the upcoming “Oppenheimer” movie where she’ll be in her birthday suit … and it seems she’s getting the party started early.

There’s a new report out that gets into the purported nitty-gritty of Christopher Nolan‘s new flick — and in it, Florence and the lead star, Cillian Murphy, are said to be getting hot and heavy pretty often on-camera… in a way CN’s never quite attempted before in his work.

Here’s how the Guardian describes it … “Although Nolan is usually, shall we say, antiseptic in his approach to romance, Oppenheimer represents a significant shift.” They add, “It features prolonged full nudity for Murphy and Florence Pugh, who plays Oppenheimer’s ex-fiancee, as well as sex, and there are complicated scenes with Emily Blunt, who plays his wife, ‘that were pretty heavy.'” In other words, it sounds like we’re gonna be seeing a lot of skin.

Welp, that’s definitely not something Florence has any problem with … as she just recently proved at a fashion show in France this past week, where she was rockin’ a sheer gown.

More importantly, FP wasn’t wearing a bra or anything underneath — so her breasts were exposed … and she wasn’t shy about it one bit! Of course, her outfit turned heads.

We’ve actually seen Florence wear something like this in the past — namely, about a year ago when was at yet another Valentino fashion show in Europe. There, too, she was sporting a braless, sheer look … and just like here, she was flaunting her body without reservation.

Florence actually blasted trolls who made fun of her for that, calling them out for body-shaming. Considering what she wore this year — not to mention the forthcoming “Oppenheimer” scenes — it’s safe to say FP is comfortable in her own skin and then some.

Speaking of “Oppenheimer” … it’s finally getting a last push of interesting press in the final sprint before it comes out — this after “Barbie” has virtually eaten all the attention thus far.

Not only are the performances being raved about, but so is the fact that there’s apparently no CGI — a big deal considering they’re recreating the atomic bomb and all (explosions included). Couple that with a little steamy sex, and Universal might just have a winner here!

Megan Rapinoe is retiring from soccer — but she’s got one last thing to achieve on her checklist before doing so … winning another World Cup.

The longtime U.S. women’s soccer legend — who’s been on the national team since ’06 — made the announcement Saturday at a presser, telling reporters this upcoming tourney would be her last as a professional … and that she’d be hanging up her cleats afterward.

She does say there’ll be more to come for her down the road — presumably meaning she’ll still be involved in soccer in some capacity — but first, her focus is on snagging the gold.

During her remarks … MR got a little choked up as she reflected on her storied career, thanking teammates, coaches, fans and everyone who’s supported her over the years. She also touched on the game itself and commented on just how far it’s taken her in her life.

She also shouts out her partner, WNBA star Sue Bird, for giving her inspiration in coming to the decision — ICYMI, SB announced her retirement from pro basketball just last year.

Megan’s thoughts are touching … and it’s a huge moment, seeing how she’s been on several U.S. Women’s Soccer teams, having played with some of the greats of the modern era. She’s played with the likes of Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, Hope Solo and so many others … and is, by and large, considered to be one of the final players of the old guard to still be on the pitch today. She’s also served as a captain on the team for years now.

Of course, her accolades are many. Megan’s helped the U.S. win the World Cup twice, and she’s also led the U.S. to a gold medal in the Olympics before. MR’s won a lot of awards, too, including the Golden Boot and Golden Ball from FIFA for her standout performances.

It’s the end of an era — but not before one last go-around. The Women’s World Cup kicks off in New Zealand on July 20, and the U.S. has its opening match scheduled for July 21st.
