Riot Games intends to make changes to the pricing of League of Legends Champions in order to address the stagnant prices that have remained unchanged for nearly a decade. Currently, League of Legends champions are categorized into different tiers based on their BE cost. The tiers range from lowest to highest: 450 BE, 1350 BE, 3150 BE, 4800 BE, 6300 BE, and 7800 BE. However, these tier assignments may be subject to change in the upcoming price update.

Riot’s objective is to offer more champions at lower prices and enhance the variety of options available to new players. As part of this effort, they plan to reassign certain champions, such as Miss Fortune, Malphite, and Yuumi, to lower BE costs. Additionally, champions like Sett and Yasuo, who are considered complex but not overly difficult, will be placed in the 1350 BE tier to increase accessibility.

The 3150 BE tier will feature champions that require more mechanical skill, such as Le Blanc or Shaco. The majority of League of Legends champions will likely be found in the 4800 BE tier. However, the 6300 BE and 7800 BE tiers will remain unchanged.

Riot’s aim with these pricing adjustments is to significantly reduce the BE/RP cost of the champion roster, making it easier for new players to enjoy the game. This update brings about a positive change that should enhance the experience for those embarking on their League of Legends journey.
