Netflix recently announced some exciting news that is music to the ears of Grand Theft Auto fans and ’90s kids alike. Starting December 14th, subscribers will be able to play three classic GTA games directly through the Netflix app.

The following GTA games will be available to play on Netflix beginning December 14th:

• GTA III
• GTA Vice City
• GTA San Andreas

These three games make up the iconic “GTA Trilogy” that defined a generation of gaming in the early 2000s.

In their statement, Netflix said the following about GTA on Netflix:

“Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is coming to Netflix on December 14 for Netflix members on the App Store, Google Play, and in the Netflix mobile app.

“Starting today, fans can pre-register to play Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, featuring the genre-defining titles of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, each updated for mobile.”

This confirms that Netflix subscribers will be able to play these full GTA games as part of their standard Netflix membership, without any additional purchases required.

The games will be the new remastered “Definitive Editions” of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas. So players can enjoy upgraded graphics and modern gameplay conveniences while revisiting these classic stories and worlds.
