Are the games connected?

Well, yes, but not really. The story of Minecraft Legends sees you and your pals take on the invading hoard of Nether-dwelling Piglins, saving your World and becoming a globally-known peacekeeper – and really, that’s where the connection ends.

Yes, you’ll see the same blocks, mobs (most of which are friendly), however, Minecraft Legends is going to be a story-driven game, unlike the open world we know and love, in ML Legends, you’ll be following quests and missions to reach the end of the game.

What’s the story in Minecraft Legends?

As we’ve hinted to – you’ll be defending the overworld against a Piglin invasion, who are keen to take over your village, but don’t worry, it isn’t personal. They hate everyone else, too.

The campaign is neither fact nor fiction, actually, the story is a tale handed down by generations from villager to villager in the Minecraft universe

How much will Minecraft Legends cost?

Upon its debut, Legends will be available in two editions: the $39.99 Standard Edition and the $49.99 Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition offers you a discounted bundle, which includes the Deluxe skin pack that will eventually be sold separately for $14.99.

The Deluxe skin pack for Minecraft Legends features a unique hero skin and an assortment of five distinct mount skins.

What mobs are in Minecraft Legends?

Legends is set to introduce an extensive array of new mobs to aid players in conquering the piglins. Among the mobs previewed in trailers are majestic, rideable tigers and various golem types, including Plank, Cobblestone, Grindstone, and Mossy Golems.

These golems offer diverse abilities, with some possessing healing powers while others assist in combat against enemies. Players will need to devise strategies and make prompt decisions to eliminate numerous Nether Portals in the Overworld.

In addition to the new mobs, Minecraft Legends will also feature beloved classic creatures such as pigs, cats, foxes, turtles, and llamas.
