Among the vital items available are Naloxone, a crucial anti-overdose medication, drug-test strips that can detect fentanyl, and comprehensive “Safer Smoking” kits consisting of a pipe, mouthpiece, and lip balm, catering to individuals who smoke crack and crystal meth.

Officials have announced the installation of four vending machines in neighborhoods heavily affected by the crisis. The inaugural machine, located in Brooklyn, is hosted by the nonprofit organization Serving the Underserved (S:US), aiming to provide crucial support to the community.
