Rangers midfielder Kalu Nweke is optimistic that his team will get better as the season progresses.

Nweke was on target in the Flying Antelopes’ Nigeria Premier Football League 2-1 win against Doma United on Saturday.

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men dominated the game but wasted a number of clear-cut chances.

“I am sure we will get better as the season progresses,” he told the club’s media.

“I am really happy with the winning start we had in the league and for my goal, It is for the entire team as we worked together for it.”

Nweke was named Man of the Match after the game.
