Named Obinna Nwafor, Saint Obi was born on November 16, 1965, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, and has become a famous player in the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood.

Saint Obi has always had a passion for the arts and performing. He earned a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt. With a solid educational foundation, he set out on a mission to realize his aspirations and leave an indelible mark on the Nigerian film industry.

Saint Obi made his acting debut in the 1996 hit "Take Me to Maama." His extraordinary talent and natural on-screen presence drew the attention of both public and industry insiders. Unfortunately, he died on Monday, May 7, 2023 after being ill for some time. 

The legendary actor, 57, allegedly died after months of hospitalization for an unidentified condition.

He was alleged to have died while staying at his sister's house in Jos. As the time of publishing this, details of his death is sketchy.
