Tags:

Two major Madden 24 tournaments are taking place very soon. But perhaps the one that will hit home harder for most is the USO & NFL’s Salute To Service Showdown Tournament. This will be their third annual tournament, with this one including the brand new Madden 24, which releases this week.

The tournament invites U.S. active duty, Reserve and National Guard members across the globe to compete against each other. The prize: A chance to attend Super Bowl LVIII.

Registration for the tournament begins on Friday, September 1st. It begins in September with four weeks of qualifier rounds in multiple regions. The tournament continues into October, where one virtual playoff per region takes place. The final eight win travel and accommodations to Dallas for the Salute To Service game on November 12th.

Additionally, two tournament winners receive two tickets apiece from the NFL to attend Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. The USO provides travel accommodations. The NFL and USO have a 50+ year history of organizing programs to support service members and military families everywhere.

Super Bowl LVIII takes place on Sunday, February 11th, 2024. With the NFL preseason just beginning, there’s a lot of time for some crazy things to happen. Not just on the field, but off of it too.

Below is the official press release from USO which gives more details on the event, including quotes, details, and more.
