Former Los Angeles Dodgers Pitcher Darren Dreifort has placed his lofty estate on the California real estate market in the much-desired city of Pacific Palisades for $8.5 million.
Dreifort was a two-time All-American and the 1993 NCAA Player of the Year at Wichita State University. That led to him being selected No. 2 overall in that year’s Major League Baseball draft, behind Alex Rodriguez.
Seems that even after retiring from the major leagues where he spent his entire 11-year career with the Dodgers, Dreifort stayed in the Golden State in his charming seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home, which he is now selling.
“Quintessential California traditional on a prime corner lot just a block away from Asilomar in El Medio Bluffs,” the listing on Compass says. “This three level home features an expansive rooftop deck with ocean and mountain views, spacious backyard with a fitness pool/ spa, basketball hoop and plenty of room to entertain.”
Features in and around the 7,698-square-foot house include:
-
Hardwood floors
-
Natural light
-
Fireplace
-
Fitness studio
-
Game room
-
Plenty of storage
Listing agent Adam Jaret calls the residence “perfect for the quintessential (Palisadian) family,” according to a news release.
“The market is still strong for Pacific Palisades, and we anticipate a quick sale due to low inventory and high demand in the neighborhood,” Jaret also noted.
