It was reported on Tuesday that Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing with the USC basketball team on Monday. Bronny has since left the ICU and is considered to be in stable condition, per a spokesperson of the James family.
The NBA and sports world rallied behind Bronny and the James family after hearing about the unfortunate news. Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson was one of the first to offer his support for Bronny on social media.
Magic was not alone as countless other prominent NBA figures offered their support for the James family. The likes of Trae Young, Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell and so many others both in and out of the sport shared their support on social media.
Damar Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest and had life-saving CPR performed on him during a Cincinnati Bengals-Buffalo Bills game in January, also sent his support to Bronny following the incident.
