Heartbreak at the Buzzer for Jimmy Butler’s Heat Gets Trae Young, Donovan Mitchell and the NBA World Riled Up Over What 28YO Star Did for Jayson Tatum’s Celtics

The Miami Heat hosted the Boston Celtics for Game 6, hoping it would be the final game in the series. However, it seemed the Celtics had other plans altogether as they came into South Beach and conquered once again. A series that appeared to be done and dusted, was extended by Jayson Tatum’s teammate, leaving multiple big names in absolute awe.

No team in NBA history has ever been able to come back from a 3-0 deficit to win the series. So, will the Celtics be the first to etch their names in the history books? Well, NBA star Trae Young certainly feels that it will end in heartbreak for Jimmy Butler‘s Heat.

Since Game 4, the Boston Celtics made it a routine to start the first quarter strong, and Game 6 was nothing different. But the Heat kept themselves in striking range throughout all four quarters, not letting the Celtics run away with the game.

In the final few seconds, it seemed like the game was up for the taking by either team, but it was the Celtics winning their third game in a row, coming back from a 0-3 deficit to even out the series.

Despite the strong performances from Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart, the catalyst of the game was Derrick White once again. The star of Game 5 picked up right where he left off.

And even though he did not have a big scoring game as in his previous outing, it was White’s buzzer-beater lay-in that kept Boston’s championship hopes alive. The Heat got their wind knocked out of them for the past few games.

But there was some sliver of hope that Miami will be able to close out the series here in South Beach. Now, with Boston winning Game 6 as well, the majority of fans are convinced that it may as well be over for the Heat.
