Basketball gliding smoothly through the nets of the basket is one of the soothing sights to watch. And especially for the player who puts the ball in. Alpine skiing legend, Lindsey Vonn, experienced a similar feeling after throwing a perfect basket when she came to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Utah Jazz on 5th April. Among the numerous baskets scored on the match night in Salt Lake City, Utah, it was Vonn’s basket that stole all the attention. 

Making the most out of the opportunity, the Olympic champion didn’t miss the chance to flaunt her basketball skills. Vonn shared the video of the scoring basket on her Instagram account, where she received incredible reactions from the fans on her shot. Here’s how they responded.

Is Lindsey Vonn looking for her second sporting career?

In a close encounter, the audience witnessed a brilliant high-scoring game, where the Lakers eventually beat the home team by 135-133 in the overtime. And who better than LeBron James to score the winning basket for the Lakers? James scored the winning points by scoring a go-ahead basket with just 27 seconds left in the OT. However, it was arguably not the best shot of the day for Lindsey Vonn fans, as the skiing legend had her moment on the court.

In the clip shared by Vonn on her Instagram, Vonn took a shot from the free-throw line. And like a pro player, she directly put the ball into the basket. Moreover, the successful basket followed the video by the skiing legend reacting like she could do this whole day without missing a shot. While captioning the video, she wrote, “Hoops there it is… #buckets.” Although the basket didn’t get Vonn any points, it did win her a bunch of positive responses on social media.

Lindsey Vonn showed some serious basketball skills out there. Although it wasn’t more of dribbling or other technical skills, a skiing legend scoring a basket is quite a deal for the sporting fans.
