Drakes Supermarkets’ latest store, nestled at the heart of the brand-new $30 million Lightsview Village Shopping Centre, has officially opened its doors to the public. It’s grand opening on Wednesday marked the beginning of an exciting shopping experience for over 5,000 residents in Adelaide’s northeast.

Drakes Supermarkets, a trusted name in the retail industry, is all set to deliver an extensive range of products, innovative concepts, and a rejuvenated food hub.

Shoppers can now enjoy experiences like The Little Kitchen, offering made-to-order hot meals and salads, Nonna’s Pasta for fresh in-store pasta, and the crowd-favourite F’Real thickshake machine.

A dedicated section for international foods will cater to the diverse culinary needs of the community, while a full-service delicatessen promises premium selections.

The store, spanning over an impressive 3,800 square meters, is housed in the multi-award-winning Lightsview Village, a master-planned development by South Australian company Lofty Building Group.

Located at a prime corner intersection of Fosters Road and Folland Avenue, it serves the inner north-eastern suburbs of Lightsview, Northgate, and Hillcrest.

Drakes Lightsview boasts an inventory of over 20,000 products, emphasising their commitment to supporting local suppliers and delivering top-notch fresh produce and exceptional customer service.

To celebrate this occasion, a special Grand Opening event is planned for Saturday, October 28. Shoppers can look forward to giveaways, a sizzling sausage BBQ, free face-painting for the kids, a coffee van, and the sweet delight of fairy floss.
