After a dominant win over Slovenia Saturday, the United States plays its second of two games in Spain.
Sunday’s game will be a road game of sorts against the hosts. The United States will take on Willy Hernangomez, Juancho Hernangomez, and the Spanish national team in a FIBA Basketball World Cup exhibition game.
Following this game, the United States will travel to Abu Dhabi for tune-up matches against Greece and Germany next weekend.
The United States roster has been led by Anthony Edwards thus far, who led the team in points in each of the first two tune-up games. Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Haliburton and Austin Reaves have been solid as well. The team will look to hone some things against the Spanish side before the FIBA World Cup begins in earnest on Aug. 25.
