Bano Qudsia was a Pakistani novelist, playwright, and spiritualist. She is well known for books, dramas, plays, and short stories. Most people are familiar with Qudsia from her book Raja Gidh. She also wrote in Urdu and Punjabi for television and the stage. Her most familiar works are Aik Din, Asay Pasay, Chahar Chaman, Chhotaa Sheher Baray Log, Footpath ki Ghaas, Haasil Ghaat, and Hawa Kay Naam. Her famous plays include Tamasil, Hawa Kay Naam, Seharay, and Khaleej.
