Richard Mark Hammond was born in Solihull, England on December 19, 1969. He is the eldest of three sons. His parents are Alan and Eileen. When Richard was 11 years old, his family moved to Ripon, North Yorkshire. Richard’s brothers are Andrew and Nicholas.
