Is there Earth in Starfield?

If you’re wondering whether Earth is present in Starfield and if you can visit it, you’re in the right place. Yes, Earth is part of Starfield, and indeed, you can explore it. How? Well, here’s a little guide for you.

How to visit Earth in Starfield?

In order to Visit Earth, you first need to unlock the fast travel mechanic, allowing you to journey to the Sol system. This feature becomes available early in the campaign, ensuring a swift process. Once unlocked, the Sol system is adjacent to the Alpha Centauri system. Open the fast travel menu, select the Sol system, and choose a landing site—that’s it, and you’re on Earth.

What can you find on Earth?

Unfortunately, not much. In the game, our planet is a wasteland, requiring a spacesuit and helmet for exploration. While the planet does hold some secrets, like the appearance of London on the map after finding and reading, for example, the Oliver Twist novel as loot, additional hidden places are revealed after collecting certain items. I won’t spoil the fun for you, but still, there isn’t much to explore, and one might hope for more. Unfortunately, a wasteland is all we’ve got.
