The Meta Quest Gaming Showcase kicked off with an exciting announcement of Meta Quest 3, scheduled to launch in the fall of this year. Meta Quest 3 will bring full compatibility with Meta Quest 2 games, offering a seamless gaming experience. The highly anticipated release date will be unveiled during the Meta Connect event on 28th September. Notably, Meta Quest 3 will come with a 128 GB of storage space. However, with a price tag of 499.99 USD, it’s worth noting that it represents a significant increase compared to Meta Quest 2.

Games revealed at Meta Quest Gaming Showcase

As mentioned earlier, Meta Quest 3 will offer compatibility with games from Meta Quest 2. This means that all the games listed below will be available on both consoles upon launch. Most of the games will be launching this year, however most of them didn’t get a release date yet.

Samba de Amigo

Samba de Amigo is currently in development, and if you pre-order the game, you’ll receive the cosmetic skin shown above. The game will feature a total of 40 tracks, and additional tracks will be available as DLC. It’s important to note that Samba de Amigo Party Central is a separate game and not to be confused with this VR version.

I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine

The third entry in the series brings you a thrilling spy-themed VR puzzle game. As a player, your mission is to safeguard the Agency and protect the world from imminent danger. Can you successfully solve the intricate puzzles and complete your mission without compromising your composure or putting your life at risk?

Silent Slayer Vault of the Vampire

Silent Slayer is a distinct game developed by the creators of Among Us VR, offering a completely different experience. It’s a single-player jumpscare game, where players objective is to eliminate sleeping vampires before they awaken.

Ghostbusters Rise of the Ghost Lord

Players will get the chance to step into the shoes of a Ghostbuster in San Francisco and embark on a thrilling adventure to capture mischievous spirits. Explore iconic locations such as the Golden Gate Bridge in a captivating campaign. Engage in solo play or team up with friends in co-op mode. The Ultimate objective is to vanquish the Ghost Lord and his minions, saving San Francisco from their destructive plans.

Underdogs

The single-player roguelike game puts players into the underground robot fighting scene, where they’ll face oa diverse cast of robots. Players will be able to equip a vast array of over 100 items, including powerful tools such as chainsaws and wrecking balls.

Racket Club

Racket Club offers an exciting 2v2 multiplayer experience in compact courts reminiscent of scaled-down tennis courts. It’s not a replication of any sport in particular but rather a fresh take that draws inspiration from various racket sports like tennis, squash etc. Each match unfolds within the confines of four transparent walls, allowing for dynamic ball rebounds and intriguing angles as players utilize the sides and back of the court.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice

A Single-player adventure RPG where players assume the role of a vampire. From the shadows, you must strike and feed on both mortal and vampire prey. This VR game, set in the captivating World of Darkness universe, is a collaborative effort between Fast Travel Games and Paradox Interactive. Unveil a conspiracy while seeking vengeance for your father’s murder.

Dungeons of Eternity

This RPG Co-op dungeon crawler features physics-based combat and randomized dungeons. Among all the games announced at the event, this stood out as the most intriguing. Prepare to explore a variety of chambers within dark crypts, ruined castles, and deep caverns, where you’ll face puzzles and navigate treacherous traps.

The 7th Guest VR

Enter a foreboding mansion where six guests are trapped in a sinister game. As the enigmatic toymaker, Henry Stauf, lurks in the shadows, a dark power awaits. Uncover the identity of the 7th Guest and unravel the mysteries surrounding Henry’s intentions. Survive the treacherous puzzles and beware of lurking dangers as you navigate the eerie mansion.

Arizona Sunshine 2

Stranger Things VR

While we wait for another season of Stranger Things, a “Stranger Things VR” is coming Fall 2023. And a twist, we’ll be playing as Vecna.

Attack on Titan VR Unbreakable

Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable, a game set in the universe of the renowned manga. Coming to Meta Quest 2 this summer, this thrilling title offers both single-player and co-op modes. In the solo campaign, players join the Attack on Titan Scout Regiment, engaging in intense battles to reclaim the city and vanquish the towering titans.

Bulletstorm VR

Bulletstorm VR brings back everything players loved about the original Bulletstorm, from the captivating world and memorable characters to the innovative Skillshot system that fuels creativity and experimentation. This VR adaptation takes the experience to a whole new level, immersing players in a more intuitive and immersive gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR

Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR was announced at Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, the game will be coming to Meta Quest, more information will be revealed at Ubisoft Forward.

Asgard’s Wrath 2

Meta’s grand finale brings the highly anticipated Asgard’s Wrath 2 to Meta Quest. This sequel introduces the ability to transform animals into loyal companions, aiding you in both puzzles and combat. Experience a new dimension of exploration as these creatures can now serve as mounts, allowing you to traverse vast landscapes. The combat system has also undergone a dynamic shift, adopting a more aggressive approach. Rather than relying solely on defense, players can employ rapid attacks to weaken enemy shields or execute skilled parries for devastating blows.
