Discord has announced a new feature called Voice Messages. If you’re unsure about how to use this feature, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. In addition to Voice Messages, Discord has also increased the maximum file size from 8MB to 25MB.
How to use Discord Voice Messages
Before diving into how to use voice messages, it’s important to note a couple of things. First, voice messages can be played on all devices, but can only be created and sent from mobile devices. Second, they’re only available in DMs, GDMs, and on servers with less than 200 members. Additionally, it’s possible to restrict sending voice messages to certain roles on servers.
How to record voice messages?
To use voice messages, simply click and hold the microphone icon next to the “send message” box while in a chat. Record your message, then release the button to send it. If you change your mind, slide your finger from the button to the trash icon on the left to cancel the message.
