In 2014, James Gunn introduced a rag tag team of misfits travelling in space who were not at all famous with the general audiences. In fact these characters were unknown amongst comic book readers as well. However, with the first film the Guardians of the Galaxy made a name for themselves. The first two films in the franchise worked very well as they explored the interpersonal relations between all the characters. It had a great emotional quotient where we understood all the characters a lot more. After this, the characters’ journeys were continued in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Thor: Love and Thunder to some extent. We haven’t had a GOTG movie for over 5 years now, although we did get a Holiday Special just last year and it was the best thing Marvel has come out with in Phase 4. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is releasing next month and it is the final movie in the Guardians franchise, this means that this is the last time we’ll see most these characters. So, to mark their farewell Marvel has arranged a little surprise for the fans.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Will Get Free Screenings!
In a recent tweet, Marvel announced that 25 special screenings of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will take place on 28th April 2023. This will enable fans to watch the threequel a week earlier than the rest of the world. Also, if you manage to get in the screening will be absolutely free. All of the screenings will occur at the given theater’s 7:00 p.m. local time on April 28. Below is a list of participating theaters and locations:

Passes for the screenings can be acquired at gofobo, all presentations would be in Imax. Attendees will also receive a complimentary collectible mini poster. It is a first come, first serve system and a ticket to the screening doesn’t guarantee you a seat as the theatres will be overbooked to ensure it is a full house. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will release this year on 5th May 2023. Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is currently available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.
