The Naze Millionaires secured promotion to the top flight after winning the 2023 Nigeria National League playoffs in Asaba.

Abia Warriors, on the other hand, have had commendable preparation for the new season as they lifted the TICO Select pre-season tournament.

Heartland will kick-start their NPFL campaign against Lobi Stars, while Abia Warriors will face Niger Tornadoes.
