5 Rivers State Politicians President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Must Settle Politically

As politicians begin to lobby for positions, appointments and contracts from the new President Tinubu led administration, below are 5 Rivers Men who effortlessly supported the electing of the new President Of Nigeria in the 2023 general elections.

Though not certain, I think these Rivers State Men deserve to be settled considering the roles they’ve played before, during and after the elections.

Senator Magnus Abe:

Sen. Magnus Abe

The SDP Governorship candidate for Rivers State in the just ended 2023 general elections have always been a friend and die hard supporter of Tinubu and his political ambitions, from his active support during the APC Primaries through the 2023 Presidential elections, many would say that senator Magnus Abe deserves a spot in the Tinubu Cabinet.

Barr. Nyesom Wike:

The Former Governor of Rivers State Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike though a PDP member, played an active roll in the election of President Tinubu In the just ended general elections.

His recent meetings with Pres. Tinubu before and after inauguration is a clear indication that he may be included in the presidential cabinet.

Tein Jackrich:

He was a presidential aspirant in the recent APC Presidential Primaries who among other aspirants stepped down for Pres. Tinubu On the day of the primaries.

He is the President/Founder of Belemaoil Producing Limited, the first indigenous oil Exploration and Production Company in Nigeria to emerge from an oil Producing Community in the heart of Niger Delta.

Tony Okocha:

Honourable Tony Okocha one term Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government area, former Personal assistant to Deputy Governor GTG Toby and former Chief of Staff to Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

He also participated actively in the Pres. Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaigns in the just ended 2023 general elections.

Asari Dokubo:

Asari Dokubo

A major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. He was president of the Ijaw Youth Council for a time beginning in 2001 and later founded the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force which would become one of the most prominent armed groups operating in the Niger Delta region.

He is a Muslim with populist views and an anti-government stance that have made him a folk hero amongst certain members of the local population. His support for President Tinubu was loud enough in the recent general elections.
