Imran Khan Arrested Army Headquarters Under Siege: Imran Khan's Supporters Stage Unprecedented Protest.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was Arrested today. In opposition to this, an explosive situation has been created across the country.  


Thousands took to the streets in his support and violently protested. Imran's supporters have set fire to government property and ride as on army headquarters.



Security forces are left helpless as the situation spirals out of control. Although it was issued at various places, the above people did not comply.  


The situation has become impossible. When PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) chief Imran Khan went to the Islamabad High Court, he was picked up by Pak Rangers from the court premises.



When this news spread, Pakistan was in turmoil. While the government says that Imran was arrested in a corruption case, Pakistani Rangers allegedly beat up Imran and his lawyer.


Nationwide violence has started over this. All major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi witnessed widespread violence and arson.  



Section 144 has been issued in Islamabad and Lahore. Due to road blockades and vandalism in hundreds of places, a state of lawlessness has arisen.


There have been reports of PTI supporters vandalizing various government institutions. 

Agitators stormed the army headquarters in Rawalpindi and pelted stones heavily. The residence of the Corps Commander in Lahore was also attacked.



Imran's supporters burnt the Radio Pakistan office in Peshawar today Hundreds of rioters are being detained by the army while the protesters are being lathi-charged and tear-gassed.

Imran Khan was arrested today after the army claimed yesterday that he had levelled baseless allegations against a senior officer of the country's spy agency ISE.



However, when Imran was arrested on the court premises, the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court expressed his displeasure over the incident.

Chief Justice Amer Farooq asked the Islamabad Police Chief, Interior Ministry Secretary and Additional Atty General to appear in the court in 15 minutes and give the details of the case in which Imran has been arrested.


The court said, if the Islamabad police chief does not appear, he will summon the prime minister.

PTI chief Imran Ajillahor went to Islamabad court to appear in a case. While Imran's biometric process was going on in the court, Pak Rangers broke through the glass window and knocked Imran out.


Rangers were seen beating up Imran's security guard and lawyer in the court. In the TV footage, it was seen that the Rangers grabbed Imran by his collar and loaded him into the police van.


Pakistan Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah tweeted that Imran Khan has not appeared in court despite repeated notices.


He said that Imran was arrested by Pakistan's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NAB). PTI leader Musarat Cheema said, "Police are torturing Imran and PTI workers have taken to the streets against it." 



Vice President Fawad Chaudhry also tweeted that Islamabad High Court is under the control of Pak Rangers.

Another PTI leader, Azhar Mashani, said that Imran was abducted from the court premises.


Former Prime Minister of Pakistan who was arrested before Imran.


Islamabad, 9/5 Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been arrested today in a corruption case. However, not only Imran alone, many former prime ministers of Pakistan have been arrested before.


1. Hussain Shaheed Munrabdi was the fifth Prime Minister of Pakistan from September 1956 to October 1957. He was arrested under the Security Act for anti-national activities. He was arrested in January 1962.

2. Zulfikar Ali Bhujo was the Prime Minister of Pakistan from August 1973 to July 1977. He was arrested in September 1977 for plotting the assassination of an opposition politician in 1974.


3. Benazir Jugo became the Prime Minister of Pakistan 2 times from December 1998 to August 1990 and from October 1993 to November 1996.
 
In 1985 he died at the death of his brother when he came to join, he was kept under house arrest for 90 days. He was under house arrest for raising political slogans at Karachi airport and violating 144 CRPC. He was arrested in August 1986.


4. By General Pervez Musharraf in 1999.Exiled from Pakistan for 10 years. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from Saudi Arabia to IslamabadHe was arrested within hours of his arrival and to end the 10-year exile He was sent to Saudi Arabia.  


5. In July 2018 Nawaz Sharif was arrested in a corruption case And he was jailed for 10 years. 2018 Sharif was arrested again in December.


5. PMLN leader Shahid Khaqan Abwasis was the Prime Minister of Pakistan from January 2017 to May 2018. He was arrested in July 2019 in a corruption case. An attempt is being made to kill Mai


Pakistan's former Prime Minister and PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) chief Imran Khan released a video on Twitter shortly before his arrest today.


Imran posted the video before going to the Islamabad High Court and said a senior military officer is trying to kill him.


Imran said that efforts are being made by PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement) to arrest him and the army is being used for this. Imran said in his message that a planned attempt to kill me has begun.
