RBI has made some special arrangements for Video  KYC:

If you have an account with a Bank and need to update KYC from time to time.  So, in this case, you have to go to the bank branch.  In such situations, many times people have to face difficulties in updating KYC.  But now you will not face any problems in updating KYC like other banks' ICICI video KYC and HDFC video KYC the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made some special arrangements in the area of ​​KYC for the convenience of the customers. In which the customer can provide bank KYC through video calling. Now sitting at home is video based.


Customers visiting their bank branches RBI said that if there is no change in KYC, re-KYC can be done only by our notification.  The Central Bank (RBI) has also directed all the banks in the country to this facility. The RBI has suggested that customers should also be allowed to make such self-declarations through non-face-to-face channels.  


The RBI said that customers who have already submitted valid documents and have kept their addresses the same can Complete a fresh KYC process through the Customer Identification Process VCIP (Video-based Customer Identification Procedure)process for updating KYC details.  It is worth noting that even after submitting documents online, digital re-KYC cannot be processed through websites and mobile apps.


The RBI has continuously complained about the banks for the past few days.  According to RBI, customers can complete the re-KYC process at home through their registered e-mail ID, mobile number, ATM, online banking or internet banking, mobile app, or letter. 


There is no need to go to the bank branch. If there is only a change in address, the proof of speech can be submitted through this mode and the bank has to complete the verification process within two months.  According to RBI, customers can also complete a new KYC process through a video call. The RBI said that a fresh KYC process should be initiated only if the documents on record do not match the current list of 'officially valid documents'.
