The former Bigg Boss OTT contestant and TV actress is known for her bold and unconventional fashion choices, which often invite criticism and mockery from netizens. Recently, she grabbed the headlines once again for wearing a Transparent Dress that left little to the imagination.

Urfi was spotted at an event in Mumbai, where she donned a pink sequined bralette and a transparent plastic skirt that had iridescent hues and floral cut-outs on one side. She accessorized her look with holographic earrings and bobby pins in her hair. She also shared a video of herself walking in the dress on her Instagram account, where she wrote, “The idea behind this was ‘if mermaids walked amongst us.’”

However, her mermaid-inspired outfit did not impress the internet users, who trolled her mercilessly for her “ugly” and “cheap” fashion sense. They also compared her dress to a raincoat, a mosquito net, and a plastic bag. Some of them also questioned her sanity and morality for wearing such a revealing outfit.

Urfi, however, seems to be unfazed by the negative comments and continues to flaunt her quirky style with confidence. She had also compared her transparent outfit to that of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who had worn a similar dress for an award show. She had called out the double standards of the society for praising Samantha and trolling her for the same outfit.

Urfi Javed is a 24-year-old actress who has worked in TV shows like Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga, Bepannaah, and Puncch Beat Season 2. She had also participated in Bigg Boss OTT, where she was the first contestant to be eliminated.
