OnePlus isn’t one to wait. The Oneplus Open was only launched a few days ago. Now, alleged real-world images of OnePlus’s next mainstream flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, have appeared online.

The leaked OnePlus 12 images have been shared by well-known tipsters Abhishek Yadav and Ice Universe on X, formerly Twitter.
Another tipster, Max Jambor, confirmed the device that appeared in the leaked images is indeed the upcoming OnePlus 12.

A OnePlus-OPPO-BOE event was held earlier today. A display of OnePlus devices was shown off, including one that doesn’t appear to be released yet.
OnePlus has also posted information from the event on its official Weibo channel and confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will feature the most advanced 2K display, developed by the Chinese display manufacturer BOE.
A previous OnePlus 12 leak has confirmed that the company is switching to BOE as a display manufacturer, and the featured display will be a larger 6.82-inch LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Today, OnePlus has officially confirmed this information through its official Weibo page.
In addition, the OnePlus 12 display is also expected to feature a 3,168 x 1,440 resolution, and the company has also revealed that it will be the brightest screen in the world with more than 2,600 nits of peak brightness.
It’s a massive leap from the 1,300 nits of peak brightness on its predecessor, the OnePlus 11.
The leaked images also provided a clear view of the device, showcasing a center-placed punch-hole selfie shooter. The Alert Slider on the left is visible, while the power and volume keys are on the right.
The back of the smartphone was also visible, although the company took pains to cover the camera cluster, as it did with early images of the OnePlus Open.
But we already have seen high-quality renders of the OnePlus 12, which aligns with the info unveiled today.
So, if we had to guess, OnePlus is hiding the same round-shaped camera bump under the cover we previously saw on the renders, with a prominent Hasselblad logo.
