Samsung accidentally confirms Galaxy Tab S9 FE series

We have been getting rumors about a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE line of tablets since before the recent Unpacked event.

Although the Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets were absent from the event, we’re quite sure they exist and are on their way, due to the leaked renders and other notable information.

Now, the Korean company itself has confirmed the existence of two tablets that were rumored to be part of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. Although we think it was an accident on Samsung’s part.

Galaxy Tab S9 FE series launch seems imminent

The details regarding the upcoming tablets were revealed on the company’s French website, which journalist Roland Quandt later spotted.

The website clearly mentioned two tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus. It’s an official acknowledgment, proving the existence of Samsung’s Fan Edition tablets and hinting that a launch is coming soon.

Previously, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus had both appeared in the form of leaked renders, revealing a slew of new details.

This is the first time Samsung is making Fan Edition tablets with one regular model and one Plus variant. The tablets are expected to sport 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch screens, respectively.

While the overall design of the Tab S9 FE series tablets remains close to the premium Tab S9 series, we expect Samsung to make several changes to maintain an affordable price tag.

The renders of the larger Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus showcase a dual camera module on the back with an LED flash. While the regular Galaxy Tab S9 Plus has a dedicated space for the S Pen attachment, we are unsure about the FE variant getting stylus support.

The standard Tab S9 FE is likely to come with a single camera module on the back, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a smart connector likely for a keyboard attachment, a dual-speaker system, and a similar design.

Currently, there are no words on the pricing of these two tablets, although we expect it to be substantially lower than its premium counterparts. These are Samsung’s first FE series tablets since the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, launched in 2021.
