Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked is more than just a product launch event. It’s a grand showcase where the tech giant from South Korea unveils its latest lineup of cutting-edge mobile devices.

From smartphones and tablets to smartwatches and audio products, Galaxy Unpacked offers an exciting glimpse into what’s next in mobile technology.

Don’t be surprised if you hear about multiple Galaxy Unpacked events within a single year. In fact, you can expect at least two major showcases annually.

The first typically takes place in early spring. This event has traditionally been reserved for unveiling Samsung’s flagship devices under the Galaxy S series.

As summer fades into autumn, Samsung gears up for its second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year.

Previously dedicated to the now-discontinued Galaxy Note series, this late-summer spectacle has found new life as the launchpad for Samsung’s innovative foldable smartphones.

According to recent announcements from Samsung, fans won’t have to wait long for their next fix of tech innovation. The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is slated for 26th July and will take place in Seoul, Korea.

What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked

Samsung is likely to show us two new foldable phones – the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. These are updated versions of their first foldable phones. But now, there are more options if you want a foldable phone.

Google has the Pixel Fold and Motorola has the Razr+. Both of these can compete with Samsung’s new phones. Also, OnePlus is planning to release its own foldable phone called the OnePlus Open sometime this year

How do I watch the Galaxy Unpacked event? 

Samsung only confirmed the Galaxy Unpacked event time not too long ago. The event will take place on July 26 at 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT.

The event is taking place in Seoul, South Korea — the first one ever in its originating country. When the company made the announcement as to where the event was being hosted, Samsung’s TM Roh said,

“Hosting Unpacked in Seoul holds great significance both as it is a city that has become an emerging epicenter of innovation and culture as well as the foldable [phone] category.” 

So there you have it: Galaxy Unpacked 2023 is scheduled to kick off on July 26:

• Eastern Time (ET): 7 a.m.
• Pacific Time (PT): 4 a.m.
• British Summer Time (BST): noon
