AR Rahman's Theme song for FIDE Chess Olympiad 2022 in Chennai sets the buzz before sports action takes over.

What started in ancient India in the form of Chaturanga has evolved a long way to get the term - Chess - and claim its status as an established professional sport today. While the amateurs and home enthusiasts spend hours in their homes, the top level professionals are as busy as say professional cricketers or tennis players with tournaments hosted around the globe.

As the FIDE (International Chess Federation) Chess Olympiad 2022 Chennai gets set to kickoff from July 28th, the city and the venue at Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu are all geared up and decked to play host for the prestigious tournament.

Directed by Vignesh Sivan, the music video showcases the chess 'black and white' theme in the background and features not just A R Rahman but gets a visual boost by the presence of the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K.Stalin too.
