  • Once the timer goes off on the air fryer, ensure the internal temperature is 165F.
  • You always want to remove the chicken immediately to ensure you don’t dry out the chicken.
  • Butterfly the chicken breasts if you have a larger breasts so you don’t dry out the chicken from overcooking.

  • Boneless skinless chicken breasts: I used boneless skinless chicken breasts for this recipe. You can also use bone-in chicken breasts, but you must increase the cooking time to ensure it’s fully cooked.

  • Meat thermometer – You always want to ensure the internal temperature of ANY chicken is 165F.

How to make Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast

  1. Sprinkle the seasoning on top of the chicken.
  2. Use your palm to push the seasoning into the chicken.
  3. Flip the chicken breasts over and sprinkle the remaining seasoning on it.
  4. Transfer the chicken to the air fryer basket and cook for 16 minutes or until the internal temperature is 165F. Flipping halfway through.
  5. Remove from the air fryer basket and serve.

Oven Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Season the chicken breast with lemon pepper seasoning.
  3. Place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken breast reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
  4. Remove and serve

  • You may use boneless skinless chicken thighs, bone-in chicken breasts or chicken cutlets if you do not have chicken breasts.
