Easy Chicken Pot Pie with Crescent Rolls

Chicken Roll Ups are always a hit in our house. We have several versions on the blog and they are all great. This Chicken Pot Pie version is no exception. SO good! I love all the veggies in the casserole. We served this with a side of Homemade Chicken Rice-A-Roni and dinner was done in a flash!

How to Make Chicken Pot Pie Crescent Roll Ups

I used my go-to chicken shortcut, rotisserie chicken, and this was ready for the oven in no time. It only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Woohoo! LOVE quick and easy weeknight meals.

  • I used rotisserie chicken for the cooked chicken in this casserole. Any cooked chicken will work just fine.
  • Here is our recipe for Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken: https://www.plainchicken.com/slow-cooker-rotisserie-chicken/
  • Do they crescent rolls get soggy? The rolls are not crispy like they would be if you baked them straight from the can. They are soft. If you want crisper rolls, bake the rolls without the sauce until golden brown and then add the sauce and cook an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until the sauce and vegetables are warm.
  • Can I freeze Chicken Roll Ups? Yes! Cool the baked casserole and cover with plastic wrap and aluminum foil and freeze.

What to Serve with Chicken Crescent Rolls

You don’t need a lot of sides to go with this casserole. It is a full meal in a pan! As I said, we usually serve this with some rice. We also love this with some noodles or grits. You could also serve more veggies with it. I love this with a good salad!
