[Ep1&2] Ma Zhai Xing has been raising a wolf man whom she calls Lang Zai. It's mutual love between the two. Cao Jun is in this! He has my underdog vote in Everybody Standby.

*Ma Zhai Xing pronounces Lang Zi more like Lang Zai. 

[Ep3] Years later, Wolf Man turns into Prince Charming (Chu You Wen) but there's a misunderstanding: he thinks Ma Zhai Xing hates him. She got rid of him with words like "you're a monster" for his safety but he doesn't know that. 

[Ep4] This is the reunion episode but her family is killed and she's in a trance. She doesn't know it's him.

Ep5] The real reunion episode. He hates her but he loves her and saves her from being raped. There's this RnB rap song here that is oddly addictive for this grand period drama. She finally sees him but he denies being wolf boy. 

[Ep6] They go through life and death together. 

[Ep7] They're betrothed but he thinks she's using him for her gains (i.e. he's mad she's marrying him without an ounce of love).

[Ep8] Misunderstandings are cleared up! Prince knows she saved him and sacrificed her knees for him (she can't kneel anymore). I like how his ears moved when he learned about her sacrifice. Very animal-istic.  

Ep9] He doesn’t tell her he’s her wolf man though. She cries that she’ll never get to see her wolf man again. To comfort her, he gives her a forehead kiss. I also love those smirks he gives her. 

A touch that makes them both feel butterflies. 

A lot of skinship to love this episode. I like that she loves him all over again without knowing he’s her wolf.  

[Ep10] A bratty princess appears (Bao Na). She makes Ma Zhai Xing jealous. Chu You Wen bites her food which she just bit into and calls it sour. He’s teasing her for being (unnecessarily) jealous.
