#NigeriaDecides2023: Live Updates, Results of 36 States' Presidential Elections, Federal Capital Territory

According to Touchaheart Nigeria, Nigerians will choose their new president for the next four years today, February 25, 2023.



Today's voting began at 8:30 am and will go until 2:30 pm. When the votes have been tabulated, the winner will be announced later this afternoon.


Officials from INEC have instructed Nigerians who think the polls won't take place today to cast their votes while the election process is still in progress.


Although there are other political parties vying for the position of president, Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Bola Tinubu are generally considered to be the front-runners in today's election.

This trustworthy web publication is aware that the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party (LP), and, of course, the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) are the primary political groups in contention.


The presidential candidates for the major parties are as follows:

 the incumbent APC's Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the PDP's Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the LP's Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, and the NNPP's Rabiu Kwankwaso.

According to INEC's final list, other presidential candidates include:

Imumolen Christopher of the Accord Party (AP), Al-Mustapha Hamza of the Action Alliance (AA), Sowore Omoyele of the African Action Congress (AAC), Kachikwu Dumebi of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Sani Yabagi Yusuf of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Umeadi Peter Nnanna of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ojei Princess Chichi of the Allied Peoples Movement ( (NRM).

Ado-Ibrahim Abdumalik of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Abiola Latifu Kolawole of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Adebayo Adewole Ebenezer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Nwanyanwu Daniel Daberechukwu of the Zenith Labour Party, and (ZLP).


President Muhammadu Buhari, who is now serving a full eight-year term on behalf of the APC, urged the populace to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice in a countrywide address.


He said that the new monetary policies of his government has made a significant contribution to reducing the role of money in politics.


He assured that every vote will count, saying, "This is a welcome break from the past and reflects a bold legacy move by this government, towards creating a strong platform for free and fair elections."
