Mar 25-30: Luna Arts presents fine-arts photo exhibition REMINISCENCE featuring 37 talented photographers at AIFACS

This photography exhibition, the 6th in the series by LUNA Arts in the last 2 years, will be inaugurated on 24th March by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder and President of Asian Academy of Film & Television, and Noida Film City, and Ms Olga Dycheva, Bureau Chief, SPUTNIK News Agency (Embassy of the Russian Federation), in the presence of two Special Guests – Padma Shree Biman Das, AIFACS Chairman, and eminent artist Vijender Sharma.

Founded in 1928 by the British India Government to showcase Indian art and artists globally, the All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS) is one of the prestigious and oldest art galleries in India with a strong historical significance.

Luna Arts is an online art marketplace for talented Indian artists and also organizes offline art exhibitions. It was founded by an artist and entrepreneur Smita and her brother Tushar in December 2019. The duo very well understands the intricate dynamics of the world of art.

According to Smita the objective behind the establishment of this art venture was to provide an excellent and fair platform for the budding and lesser-known but very talented artists of India, and across the world.

“We promote those amazing artists who deserve recognition, who are unrecognized by an Indian art industry in spite of their sheer talent. Art is a metaphysical medium to create a shift in the human consciousness. Through these group art exhibitions we want to promote art & culture and infuse compassion and peace in our human society,” Smita and Tushar said during an interview with Asian Community News (ACN) Network.

Last year, LUNA Arts had successfully organised a beautiful national group art exhibition ‘NAKSHATRA’ with 47 talented artists from across the country displaying a wide collection of contemporary, and traditional artworks with affordable price tags in New Delhi. This 6-day offline group art show NAKSHATRA took off on October 15 at the AIFACS Gallery, and continued for public viewing till October 20. The artworks on display included handmade original paintings and sculptures.
