In 2023, Studio Madhouse will release an anime adaptation of the popular light novel, "My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999". The news was confirmed by the author of the light novel, who also announced that the anime will premiere in Japan in 2023. 

"My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999" is a light novel that was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's "Yamada-kun" light novel label from 2012 to 2013. The story follows a high school student who is reincarnated as a powerful monster in a video game.
