Import of cheap oil from Russia: People likely to get Rs 42 per liter relief.
Russia is ready to give very cheap oil to Pakistan, due to which people are likely to get relief of Rs 42 per liter.
According to the sources, Russia will give cheap oil to Pakistan at the same rate as India and China, India and China are taking oil from Russia 20 dollars per barrel cheaper than the world market rate.

Russia will also provide oil to Pakistan 20 to 30 dollars per barrel cheaper than the Brent oil market.
Sources further said that progress is expected in January on the purchase of petroleum products from Russia, insurance, shipping and other charges are yet to be discussed with Russia.
According to sources in the Ministry of Petroleum, oil is likely to be imported from Russia for up to 65 dollars per barrel, adding all international taxes, the ex-refinery price of gasoline will be up to 41 cents per liter.
Sources further said that the price of petrol may decrease by Rs 42 per liter when imported oil comes because the ex-refinery price of petrol is Rs 92 27 paise per liter and local taxes on petrol are up to Rs 90 per litre.
