Minister of State for Finance Ayesha Ghos Pasha said that payments of sukuk bonds have been made, Pakistan is not at risk of default.


 Talking to the media, the Minister of State for Finance said that the online discussion between the IMF is going on, Pakistan wants to complete the IMF program, the repayment of loans under mutual agreements is being rolled over.


 Ayesha Ghos Pasha said that when the government took over, there was a risk of default at that time, 16 billion dollars are needed for flood recovery and reconstruction, it will take many years for recovery and reconstruction after the flood.


 The Minister of State for Finance further said that Pakistan will get the next tranche of loan when the IMF board approves, talks are also ongoing with the World Bank, ADB and other institutions.
