Actor Mammootty and Akhil Akkineni Agent, which is a Telugu spy thriller, was released in the theatres with much hype. The film was made with a massive budget of 65 crores. The film made an opening of just 5 crore and did not even reach the figure of 10 crore in the next 4 days. 

In fact, the producer of the film Anil Sunkara took down Twitter and wrote about the film being an Ultimate disaster. He in fact took all the blame for starting the film on himself and apologised to the audience saying that in the future he will take care of not starting such big blunder stories again. The figure of earnings each day depreciated with the last number after making an opening of 5 crore the film made 8.96 crore in total for the entire week. The film has not been able to collect 10% of its total budget and proved a clear box office flop.
