The Dream Girl 2 story is heavily inspired by Dream Girl. The concept of Ayushmann working in the call center disguised as pooja has been kept on the same notch in this part as well. The extremity of Pooja’s character has been given the next level though. 

The story revolves around Karamveer (Ayushmann Khurrana) who wants to marry Pari Srivastava (Ananya Panday). The problem arises when Pari’s father (Manoj Joshi) demands a 25 lakh bank balance in Karam’s bank account after which only he will give his daughter’s hand. Annu Kapoor (Karam’s father) on the other hand is under so much debt that has to be returned to the market. 

Karam only has six months’ time hence earning a huge amount in a limited time isn’t that easy. Therefore, he decides to be a bar dancer and turns into Pooja, hiding his gender. Things take a turn when Pooja gets a 50 lakh offer with a condition to marry a man.

Dream Girl 2 Screening was held last night for the stars in town. However, the event was kept intimate for a close group. Ayushmann Khurrana attended the evening along with his wife Tahira Kashyap. Along with that Aditya Roy Kapoor was also seen coming to cheer his girlfriend, Ananya Panday. Vidya Balan too was there.

Dream Girl 2 Public Review- The response from the public side is coming super positive. People are calling Ayushmann Khurrana’s new film, a fun riot. In comparison with the earlier franchise, the jokes and dialogues are considered weak though.

Director Raj Shaandilya also being the writer of the film has beautifully penned down the story so that every character gets their own screen space without looking overburdened. One of the most important factors that makes you watch this film is the ensemble cast. Ayushmann Khurrana, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, and Manoj Joshi are such actors who can’t go foggy while portraying the role. Their brilliant comic timing, dialogue delivery, and expressions are so subtle that with each passing film, they justify the statement of how it looks like being perfect. 

The story being inspired by its prequel does not make you feel monotonous letting you get bored coming out as a perfect entertainer.
